Manufacture and installation of bespoke joinery
A landmark civic building supported with high- quality joinery across its library, education areas, public spaces and workplaces.
Brent Civic Centre, designed by Hopkins Architects is a landmark civic hub that brings together council services, community facilities and public spaces under one roof. With a striking naturally-lit atrium, a timber-clad central drum housing the library and community hall, and a range of flexible office, meeting and retail spaces, the building was conceived as a vibrant heart for the borough. It has won multiple national and industry awards for design, sustainability and community impact, including BREEAM ‘Outstanding’, making it one of the most environmentally considerate civic buildings in the UK.
Martek was brought on board to deliver high-quality joinery throughout the project, contributing to the building’s refined interiors and user-focused spaces. Our work features prominently in the new library, public seating areas, custom desking and integrated booths—each element crafted to support both form and function within a busy civic environment.
