CINEMACON 2015 Highlights
CinemaCon 2015 marked the 5th year of the show being held in Caesars Palace and what a spectacular year it was. Martek had a bustling schedule with meetings sandwiched between the trade show which ran for three days and various industry events in the evenings.
Delegates were able to attend seminars, view upcoming screenings whilst discovering new products and technologies on the trade show floor.
As always, Martek attended the closing night celebrations sponsored by Coca-Cola in the Colosseum. The evening kicked off with The Big Screen Achievement Awards hosted by Billy Bush, where the marvellous work of 16 performers and filmmakers was celebrated and they each collected an award for:
Lifetime Achievement Award – Alan Arkin Breakthrough Filmmaker of the Year – Elizabeth Banks 2015 Star of Tomorrow – Britt Robertson Director of the Year – Francis Lawrence Breakthrough Performer of the Year – Amy Schumer Rising Stars of 2015 – Nat Wolff & Cara Delevingne Cast of “Fantastic Four” – Jamie Bell, Michale B.Jordan, Kate Mara and Miles Teller Comedy Filmmaker of the Year – Paul Feig CinemaCon Vanguard of the Year – Julianne Moore Comedy Star of the Year – Kevin Hart Female Star of the Year – Rose Byrne Paul Rudd – Male Star of the Year
Coca-Cola then hosted a fantastic poolside party to celebrate the movie going experience and the conclusion of a great CinemaCon 2015 – with special entertainment from the Las Vegas renowned “The Twins Duelling Pianos Show”.
